Higher CW Power + Higher Duty Cycle
Our Patented Microwave E-Plane Combiners offer extremely High Power handling capability. This N-Way Combiner architecture is ideally suited for emerging High CW Power / High Duty Cycle Solid State Radar requirements.

Whereas an N-Way Radial Combiner design is limited in CW output power due to the diameter of the central output coaxial section (based on TEM Model Operation), the E-Plane Combiner is limited only by the CW rating of the respective waveguide size.

Result: A fully customizable N-Way Combining architecture which handles multiples higher in power at respective frequencies.

Two High Power Examples:

C-Band Solution
The Model D11839, 16-Way High Power E-Plane Combiner operates from 5300-5900 MHz with an average power rating of 12,000 W CW. The D11839 includes a WR159 Sum Port Connector and WR159 Half Height Input port connectors. The unit operates with less than 0.3 dB of Insertion Loss across the full operating band.The Model D11839 is only limited in power handling by the rating of the WR159 output connector: 12 kW CW and 2700 kW Peak.Available with waveguide or coaxial inputs.
X-Band Solution
The Model D12337, 16-Way High Power E-Plane Combiner operates from 9.0-11.0 GHz with an average power rating of 3000 W CW. The D12337 includes a WR90 Sum Port Connector and WR90 Half Height Input port connectors. The unit operates with very low Insertion Loss across the full operating band.The Model D12337 is only limited in power handling by the rating of the WR90 output connector: 3 kW CW and 760 kW Peak.Supplied with waveguide or coaxial inputs.* Shown with precision coaxial inputs.
